This leatherweave Corset displays a full pattern of Malay traditional Songket motif, the bamboo shoot or pucuk rebung.
Both ends of this item were stitched with silk satin which allows the wearer to secure it to her body- the large bow becoming a feature of the back silhouette.
Executed using waxed polyester threads and dark blue leather strips.
