Coilings

These rattan platters are produced using the traditional basketry technique of coiling. A joint project with UNIMAS, involving the Penan artisans in Ulu Baram, Sarawak. 

Winner of UNESCO World Craft Council Award of Excellence for Handicraft 2016.
